Vineyard

Lone Point is located at 1200 feet above sea level. Our vineyard consists of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Tempranillo and Riesling. Since Cabernet Sauvignon is a late harvest variety, we will be sourcing those from the best Cabernet regions in the south central part of the state. Our goal is to have five standalone varietals – Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Tempranillo and for the whites a Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. We will also have a Rosé and two red blends.

The soil on our ridge is a sandy loam that has two feet of topsoil – below the loam is a mixture of sand and gravel providing excellent drainage. Looking across the globe, we see that the Loire Valley in France and the Moravia Valley in the Czech Republic have our same latitude.

The Setting

We are located on a “Point” of a ridge overlooking the beautiful Columbia River Valley at the confluence of the Okanogan and Columbia Rivers where the view goes on for miles!

Construction of our Tasting Room and Cottages was completed in the spring of 2019 so we invite you to come enjoy our piece of paradise by relaxing, enjoying some good food, wine and conversation.
